This is Dario Vasquez and a while back; I recorded a video about food safety and sanitation. And today, I just want to kind of remind you that if you are a manager serving a customer,  you need to be attentive because you want to provide safe food to all customers and you want to keep those customers satisfied at all times. And by the way, did you know that recently over here in Florida, actually in Orlando, there was an employee. A Burger King employee that was mopping the floor with a mop and after mopping the floor was mopping tables. And was mopping a floor with the mop and the after mopping the floor, So, mopping tables with s mop after mopping the floor. What do you think will happen to that if that employee went to touch food that was supposed to be served to customers?  That would be a potential bacterium being transferred over there. And what could happen is customers are going to get sick and if customers get sick, that company would have to face probably liability and that’s not what you want to as a manager. You don’t want your company to be on the news in that negative aspect. There was a customer out there that went to that restaurant and the customer was actually the one that recorded video and uploaded it to social media. So that’s not a type of public relations or public Image you may want to have,  So,  what I do is I provide that ServSafe certification and in addition to that, I provide that customer service training focusing on. food safety and sanitation.

 

So, every time I certify a manager, I, or food service professional, I always emphasized the importance of bringing someone. Bring someone from outside that might provide you with a unique perspective and you know what, that could be me. I could go over there and provide training to your employees in a way that they will understand that the customer is the most important asset you have in a company after, actually, your employees, because without employees you will not be able to serve your customer. But I just wanted to let you know that I’m here, I’m available and can work one-on-one or in a  group, in the group of five or ten hundred people, and I can go over there and facilitate that training at your facility.
